Dr. Fatima Yusuf

Dr. Fatima Yusuf is a consultant dermatologist and venereologist at Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital, with a clinical focus on inflammatory skin diseases, hair and scalp disorders, and sexually transmitted infections in a West African context. Her 9 years of practice have given her deep experience with conditions common in sub-Saharan Africa including tropical dermatoses, hyperpigmentation, keloids, and skin infections. Dr. Fatima trained at Bayero University Kano and completed her specialist dermatology training at AKTH, obtaining the Fellowship of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (FMCP). She has a growing interest in cosmetic dermatology and has undertaken training in chemical peels and laser therapy for hyperpigmentation — conditions that affect a significant proportion of her Nigerian patient population. She is a member of the Nigerian Association of Dermatologists (NAD).
